Tippmann

It is difficult for most companies to create something that becomes a staple in that industry, it is even more difficult for a company to create two, and that is exactly what Tippmann has done with the A-5 and the 98 Custom! Both the Tippmann A5 and the 98 Custom have been on the market for over 20 years now and although there have been design changes to them over the years, they have largely remained the same as they were originally designed!

What makes Tippmann stand out so much for an entry level marker, is that they are designed around reliability, whereas most entry level items are designed around affordability. With reliability in mind, they have created multiple lines of markers using a design that is largely based off of the 98 Custom’s internals, these markers include the Tippmann Stormer, TMC, and Cronus most notably. Externally these markers all have very different designs, but internally are virtually the same (with some changes for each platforms design), so they usually require very little maintenance, will have a similar shot feel to each other, and are all typically more of a tactical style marker.

Tippmann does not just focus on markers, although that is what they are most known for, they also manufacture a variety of products including air tanks, pod packs, chest protectors, remote lines, and much more!

From great and simple entry level, backyard shooters to tactical AR styled magazine fed markers, Tippmann dominates above all others that are in the same price range. The majority of players today all started out with some form of a Tippmann, or had used them at some point, and a lot of peoples love for the sport originated with stories involving this legendary brand!
