Having the Best Paintball pants possible is very important when on the field, you want to make sure that you are well protected, comfortable, and that they are not going to fall down or rip on you when you are playing. There is a variety of styles including padded paintball pants, minimalist pants, jogger style, retro style, ect. Identifying which pair of pants is best for you is going to be largely a personal preference, but here is some info that could help you make a choice when you need to pick new pants for paintball!

One of the most common types of pants has been the jogger style pant as these fit very comfortably, they breathe well, and are flexible, so they can put up with all the stress put on them from playing. Typically, with Jogger style paintball pants you would wear pads under them as they do not offer much protection, so keep in mind although you want them to be fitted, you want to leave room for protective bottoms or knee pads and slide shorts. Each company will have their own take on Paintball joggers, but they will usually have swab pockets, standard pockets, a cuffed ankle, a drawstring waist, and usually a light comfortable, flexible material for the majority of them with a reinforced knee.

Padded paintball pants are a great option, especially for playing recreationally if you do not want to wear pads or in cooler areas. These pants tend to contain heat a little more than some of the others and still usually have extra room in them for additional pads, so of course you can choose whatever is most comfortable to you. Padded pants usually will have heavy reinforced and padded knees, pockets, swab pockets, some may have a fitted ankle cuff while others have an adjustable ankle, and these usually will have an adjustable waist belt as well.

Minimalist paintball pants, or pants without padding are usually very lightweight, breathable, and comfortable. These pants are usually loose enough to where you would wear protective bottoms or knee pads and slide shorts under them, they are the most ideal pants for warm climates as they help to keep you cool on the field. Commonly these will have reinforced knees, swab pockets, standard pockets, an adjustable waist belt, and the ankle cuffs vary between fitted cuffs or adjustable straps.
