The Dye Rotor LT-R is one of the best value hoppers available, not only is it made to be very durable, but it is one of the fastest hoppers available! The original Rotor and the Rotor LT-R share a very similar design, so speedfeeds and parts are interchangeable between them. What sets the LT-R apart from most other hoppers is that it can be mostly disassembled without a single tool, making it very user friendly!
With the Dye Rotor LT-R being a force fed loader, it is an obvious choice if you intend on playing mechanical paintball, as it will push a ball into the breach the second the bolt in your marker retracts. Force fed hoppers work by constantly applying pressure to your paintballs in the feed tube so it is very quick to get paint into your marker, but in the event that it were to jam on an oversized paintball or other debris, there is a “shark fin” on the bottom that you can use to unjam the hopper and clear whatever the obstruction may be.
Dye Rotor Speedfeeds are a common upgrade for this hopper due to the simplicity in just dumping paint into your hopper, rather than lifting the lid then filling up. There are a variety of rotor speed feeds available from a variety of companies including Dye, HK Army, Ect. Another popular upgrade for the Rotor LT-R is the Virtue Ncharge battery, which replaces the battery tray with a rechargeable battery which will outlast standard batteries, and help you save money in the long run!
