Please Note: This version of the Skeleton Air Wave Spring is pre-set. Shims are not included, required, or used.
Before installing the Skeleton Air Wave Spring, the marker's velocity adjustment screw must be turned all the way in clockwise to its lowest velocity setting. Do not install the wave spring while leaving the regulator at its previous velocity setting.
Important: Velocity adjustment tool sizes vary by marker. Always verify the correct tool for your specific marker and never force an incorrectly sized Allen key into the adjustment screw.
Step 1: Turn the velocity adjustment all the way in.
Before installing the wave spring, gently turn the marker's velocity adjustment screw clockwise until it reaches its lowest velocity setting. Do not overtighten.
Step 2: Install the pre-set wave spring.
Install the Skeleton Air Wave Spring and completely reassemble the regulator. No shims are required. Make sure all ASA screws are firmly secured before airing up the marker.
Step 3: Air up and adjust the velocity.
Air up the marker and use a chronograph to check its velocity. Slowly turn the velocity adjustment screw counterclockwise to increase velocity, making small adjustments until the desired setting is reached.
TURN THE VELOCITY ADJUSTMENT SCREW ALL THE WAY IN CLOCKWISE BEFORE INSTALLING THE WAVE SPRING.
After installation, air up the marker and slowly turn the velocity adjustment screw out counterclockwise while using a chronograph to reach the desired velocity.
